Job Description: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Wellingborough, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full-time Working Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: £90-£110 per day Start Date: April Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Wellingborough. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning activities within the school. You will work closely with the teaching staff to provide additional guidance, motivation, and academic support to students of various age groups and abilities. Your passion for education and commitment to nurturing the development of young learners will be essential in contributing to the school's success. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Support individual students or small groups in various subjects, providing additional guidance and reinforcement. Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' personal, social, and academic growth. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adapting instructional strategies accordingly. Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and managing student behavior in accordance with school policies. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, contributing to the wider school community. Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement intervention programs to address students' specific learning needs. Act as a role model, inspiring students to achieve their full potential and promoting a love for learning. Be proactive in developing your own knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA is highly desirable. A relevant qualification, such as a Level 4 Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification, CACHE Level 4, or equivalent. A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
