Project Manager

A mid-sized Civil Engineering contractor are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic business. The Company The company offer a multitude of services within the civil engineering sector across Yorkshire and the North East with a diverse client base. They have a track record for promoting within the business and rewarding loyalty and hard work. The Role Ideally water industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential but a general civil engineering/construction background is required. This person would work alongside the other project managers working in the region supporting in delivery of a wide range of projects with the main elements of this being water industry related. This person would be based from their office in Leeds but expected to travel to sites across the region as part of their role. Duties • Contribution to the pre-construction process, including some planning of works. • Oversee site activities, of directly employed and subcontract staff ensuring they are hitting key milestones. • Regular client liaison, with a key client. • Driving a positive and compliant HSE culture on site. • Responsible for site documentation including RAMS. • Commercial responsible for the P&L of the project, supported by a QS.
