Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer  The role of the Maintenance Engineer is to provide a full preventative and breakdown maintenance service across a wide range of production machinery & equipment.  The role will also support the general building maintenance, fault finding, installation and inspection of the electrical infrastructure within company sites. Principal Accountabilities: Electrical & Mechanical repair & preventative maintenance of all machinery, electrical equipment & factory services to a high standard in accordance with manufacturers specifications Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical fault finding and repair on all production equipment including CNC & PLC controlled machinery Undertaking of preventative maintenance schedules and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) related activities (where appropriate) Working within H&S Regulations and company procedures at all times Improve the reliability of machinery and equipment Person Specification Experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking preventative maintenance, repairs and installation of electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment HNC/HND – ideally to degree level or equivalent Effective fault finding skills A strong understanding of PLC’s Ability to lead a team or autonomously Extensive CNC machine maintenance experience – preferable Electro-Mechanical skills including Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Industrial Control Problem solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence of breakdowns C&G 2391 Inspection & Test & 17th Edition IEE Certification or equivalent is advantageous A drive to improve reliability of machinery and equipment through Continuous Improvement If you are interested in applying for the role and have the correct skills please call Ian at Holt Engineering on (phone number removed)
