Health And Safety Manager

A Health and Safety Manager is needed in a brand new role in a leading manufacturing business in Bradford. This business has gone from strength to strength and Health and Safety is area that needs an experienced Health and Safety Manager to put in best practice processes and implement 45001 standards from scratch. Key responsibilities as a Health and Safety Manager * Build from scratch and take ownership of all Health and Safety systems and procedures within the company as they look to overhaul their current approach * Introduce ISO 45001 standards and accreditation and write all associated procedures from scratch * Conduct PUWER assessments/risk assessments and ensure proper safety controls are in place * RAMs * Accident investigations * Implement training programs, matrices, and records to ensure all staff are properly trained * Chair health and safety meetings and give toolbox talks to shop floor staff * Ensure permits to work and H & S systems are functioning properly * Prior H & S experience in environments with machinery, welding processes and other safety-critical equipment, etc. * Have a manufacturing background and experience conducting hands-on safety checks * Manage the business's health and safety responsibilities as it grows from 55 to more employees This is a rare opportunity to be the first Health and Safety Manager they’ve hired and put in standards and gain accreditation from scratch
