Steel Erector

Mane are on the lookout for a number of steel erectors on a project coming up in avonmouth, We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Erector to join our dynamic team in Avon mouth. As a Steel Erector, you will be responsible for assembling and installing steel structures according to project specifications and safety standards. We are particularly interested in local applicants who are familiar with the area and can easily commute to our project sites. Responsibilities: Assemble and erect steel frames, beams, columns, and other structural components according to construction drawings and specifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection measures. Layout and align steel components accurately using measuring tools and levelling equipment. Perform welding, bolting, and other connection methods to secure steel members together. Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organised manner.Requirements: Proven experience as a Steel Erector or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in reading construction drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to steel erection. Welding and fabrication skills are desirable. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Local candidates residing in or near Avon mouth are preferred
