Electronic Component Specialist

Due to an increased workload, an exciting opportunity has arisen within component engineering for a specialist to technically lead the selection of electronic components used in products. This will involve using technical electronic expertise to ensure suitable components are selected within products. The Opportunity: Take responsibility for the selection of components within products across the business Research new components and technologies for the future Maintain your knowledge in specialist areas, ensuring that it is effectively passed to others Participate in design reviews, training and development activities to maintain the company's technological capabilities Lead continuous improvement initiatives to define best practice and manage the adoption and adherence of methodologies on an international scaleRequirements: In depth knowledge and experience with electronic components Ability to test and diagnose Digital and Analogue components at component level Experience of component level failure analysis Strong communication skills to facilitate regular face to face communication with all relevant partners The ability to write clear and concise engineering documentationIf you are interested in this position please get in contact on (phone number removed) or (url removed)
