Young Peoples Advisor


We are recruiting an interim Young Peoples Advisor to  join our Supporting Independence Team (formerly Leaving Care) based in Ellesmere Port.  The role of the Young Peoples Advisor is to provide  ongoing support, advice and guidance to promote the capacity of each young person to develop the skills necessary to live independently. Enhance the ability for all young people leaving care, enabling them to realise their full potential and become successful in all aspects of their lives. Provide a targeted, outcome focussed service to children and young people who are legally defined as a care leaver and therefore entitled to services. We offer excellent supervision and manageable caseloads, working alongside a team of experienced young peoples advisors, social workers and team manager. Free parking in all our localities and access to all in house training and development.  It would be beneficial if the candidate lives within a reasonable distance from Ellesmere Port, as whilst we work in a hybrid model, there is an expectation of regular working from our office bases.   37 hours per week / Contract £18 per hour Why work with We do Social Work?
