Gas Engineer

Gas Engineer Location: on the road. Hampshire and surrounding areas Start: ASAP Job type: full time, term to perm Salary: £32k-£40k circa depending on experience Fusion People are seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic Engineer with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to work for a well-established company with great benefits. Job role will be to carry out plumbing & gas maintenance across new build sites; in a safe, clean and well-presented manor. You must be able to work to a strict program, where punctuality and quality of workmanship is key. You must be able to work with other trades and be able to handle difficult situations with work. Your roles will include: Material issues, i.e. leaks, burst fittings etc. Replacing toilets, towel rails and radiators Guttering repairs Repair gas pipes and fittings Boiler changes Servicing Shower breakdowns and shower enclosure issues Replacing taps Heating breakdown and diagnosis Other duties as requiredQualifications & Licenses: Gas Safe Registered (essential requirement) G3 Unvented (essential requirement) ASHP knowledge or accredited (essential requirement) Basic knowledge of electrics (changing zone valves, pumps, stats etc) Solar Thermal experience (not essential) Minimum of 5 years' experience in plumbing maintenance and customer relations GNVQ level 2 or 3 or its equivalent qualification Competent in working with Ideal, Manhattan, Rocca, Aqualisa and Bristan products Full clean drivers licenseJob details & Benefits: £32-40k circa depending on experience 20 Days Holiday Company Van Tools (if required) Fuel Card Mobile Phone Standard working hours are 8:30AM - 4:30PM with 30 mins lunch break. However, some flexibility may be required. Overtime/Out of Hours - 1 week out of 4 (essential to job application) Time and half after 5pm and double time on Sundays Sites are between 15mins - 1.5h away.
