The role holder will be responsible for design and development of new product introductions and driving continuous improvement through current processes. Based in Sheffield, this company has a strong reputation for investing in its employees and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Description Create, configure and develop Tool & Die Designs, and manufacturing processes Optimize current Designs and processes to meet customer and internal requirements Provide estimates regarding Billet sizes Modeling & drafting of tools, dies, fixtures & gauging models and associated Provision of machining profiles, edge milling, wire erosion path Creation of projector layouts. Proofing of Processes Analysis of Capability Data Assist with equipment selection and support implementation of new equipment Search for best practices and innovative solutions which could improve production and quality Forge Subject Matter Expert for PPAP & FAIR processes Maintenance of Forge Engineering Data g. Drawing/ Model revision, and associated change control Inspection files, and associated change control FMEAProfile Forging Knowledge Surface Modelling in Siemens NX Orthopaedic/ Aerospace project knowledge Understanding and application of APQP and PPAP Processes Customer focus driven (both Internal and External customers) Demonstrated ability to read product drawings Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills and self-motivated Comfortable working to challenging time lines Problem solver Job Offer Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans.
