CBW are currently recruiting for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to be based in a commercial building located in Wimbledon. The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with a small maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM & reactive maintenance. Hours of work 08:00am - 17:00pm 40 hours per week Monday - Friday (Weekend off)  £24 per hour Starting Immediately Requirements City & Guilds / NVQ NVQ in Mechanical You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential) A proven track record in commercial building maintenance An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units Multi-skilled Good communication skills Excellent customer skillsMechanical duties: Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls) Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls) Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing Water pressurization units Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling Steam Plant Condensers, Condenser Returns Cooling towers Softeners Humidifiers Hydraulics Pneumatics Boilers – re-sets Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faultsPlease send your CV to Katie at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information
