Pump Field Service Engineer

Due to recent company growth and increase in workload we are looking to recruit a number of experienced Pump Service Engineers to join a leading business looking to expand their national field service team. This role provides the opportunity to work on a range of highly secured sites across the UK so the ability and willingness to travel and clear criminal record is a must! The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable experience in carrying out pump maintenance along with other rotating equipment, hydro turbines, electric motors and valve maintenance (both corrective and preventative maintenance). Experience working in Power Generation or Refineries is also a must. Candidates must be time served in a relevant discipline with a Full UK Driving License. In accordance with business policy medical or drugs and alcohol testing will be required. Standard 37 hours per week - Flexible approach to hours is required to suit client / site requirements. Candidate may be away for up to 6 weeks at a time dependant on work and location – additional payments made for staying away. Typical earnings up to £65k Role Description * Supporting our customers at their site or locations. * Fault finding on a wide range of rotating machinery. * Strip, inspect and re-build machinery following pre-established work scopes. * Equipment removal, installations, and commissioning activities. * Perform alignment checks using DTls or Laser alignment equipment. Skills / Qualifications * Candidates will ideally be time served in relevant Discipline. * Experienced in pump maintenance along with other rotating equipment, hydro turbines, electric motors and valve maintenance. * Understanding of the principles of Mechanical seals would be advantageous. * Full UK driving license * CCNSG Card/ Safety Passport - advantageous * Ability to obtain security clearance where needed. * Ability to accurately read, review and interpret manufacturing designs, drawing and schematics.
