Are you passionate about art education and inspiring the next generation of creative minds? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher for a Secondary School in Basingstoke. Position: Art Teacher Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire Start Date: April or September (Long-Term Contract with Potential for Permanent Position) Pay: £140 - £220 per day (depending on experience)  Role Overview: Supply Desk are working with a Secondary School based in the Basingstoke area that are seeking a full time Art teacher to start from April or September on a long term contract with the School looking to make the role permanent for the right person. You will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons to students across different year groups in KS3 and KS4. You will encourage creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking, while also supporting students in developing their technical skills and understanding of various art mediums. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons in KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their artistic abilities Organize and participate in extracurricular art activities and events Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular links and enrich the overall learning experience About the School: The school is based in Basingstoke and is a mixed Secondary School for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 1,100 students in total. The school has a keen interest in promoting scientific literacy, as well as creating a friendly and enthusiastic environment through all aspects of teaching.
