You will be joining the warehouse department and help with the day-to-day operations/ logistics department in ensuring goods go out to customers on time. The company is part of European manufacturing group, with Midland distribution sites in Dudley. The company prides itself on delivering a high-quality service, developing its employees to the same standard. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful Warehouse Operative will hold an important role within the company. Key Responsibilities – will include but not limited to MUST HAVE A VALID FLT LICENSE · Supporting the warehouse team in day to day running · Dealing with different metals on FLT or as gen op · Keeping the yard/warehouse and workstations tidy and organized. · A keen eye to detail to minimize errors and achieve the right first time attitude . Key Skills · Excellent time keeping and attendance · Hold a valid Fork Lift License · Willing to go the extra mile to meet customer expectations · Good communication skills · Problem Solving and solution orientated · Flexibility – Some overtime maybe required · Demonstrable team work skills · Commitment to external and internal customer satisfaction · High level of customer service skills demonstrating a positive, friendly and professional attitude at all times · Willingness to learn product knowledge. · Attention to detail · Good numeracy and literacy skills · Well organized · Being able to work in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent attendance and time keeping is a must.
