Full job description What you'll be involved in: As a Quality Engineer, you will be working as part of the growing Quality department team, providing product and process quality assurance across the production environment. Providing inputs to the Quality and Compliance managers to aid continuous development of quality processes, training and CI projects. This role will also offer the opportunity to work across multiple departments and liaison with external customers. Key Responsibilities: To support the Quality and Compliance Managers in various tasks To develop and support the move from product to process quality Compile FAIR documentation in accordance with AS9102 To support New Product Introduction in accordance with AS9145 To perform RCCA using 5 Why, 8D, PFMEA and PPS techniques Ensure close out of relevant RCCA To raise Non-Conformance Reports and Concessions To champion Continuous Improvement To offer lineside support NCR & MRB control Perform internal audits ISO9001/AS9100 Understanding of customer Specifications and Engineering Drawings Verification of Engineering Planning / Work Instructions Action Customer Returns Calibration system monitor/control Other duties as requiredWhat we're looking for in you: My client is seeking Quality Engineer and Quality Technicians with experience of developing and delivering quality and business improvements to maximise production, profitability, and customer service. For the Engineer position, previous leadership experience would be an advantage. You should have good commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver change and improvement. Ideally you will come from a background in special processes, medical devices and or aerospace / defence Qualifications & Experience: First Article compilation to AS9102 Degree/HNC Engineering and/or Equivalent professional qualification Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and NADCAP Ability to audit to ISO AS9100/ISO9001 Ability to implement Quality Systems and databases including process flow charts and SPC Experience with continuous improvement techniques Computer literate (Excel proficient) Experience within Aerospace/Composites Manufacturing would be of great interest for this roleJob Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
