Broker Support Consultant

We are currently working with a well-known insurance group who are now looking for someone to join them as a Broker Support Consultant, on a fully remote basis to work on the network side of their business, working with AR’s and Brokers who are part of their network. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual from an insurance broking or underwriting environment who wants to step into a Relationship role within the Network space.  This firm has a great track record of recent growth, and as such offer a superb environment for ambitious insurance professionals to grow and develop.   The successful candidate will provide broker support & assistance through inbound & outbound calls & emails to both prospective brokers who are going through the onboarding process & to those brokers who are already an established member of the network, within their given territory area. You will also provide support to the network Broker Manager. You will be the first response unit for all new & existing businesses who require assistance with a varied range of requests from onboarding, training and Insurer support with all queries being responded to within an agreed Service Level Agreement and this will be monitored in several ways. To be considered you will need to be highly personable and proactive in your work as well as a very confident communicator. Experience wise, you will need at least 3 years insurance experience, be that gained in broking or underwriting in either personal lines or commercial lines (or both) with a strong focus on providing great customer service. Lastly you will need to be computer literate with experience using MS Word, MS Excel, & MS Power Point) and ideally have knowledge of using the Acturis system. Please also note, occasional travel may be required to head office (Kent) which will include your induction. Salary on offer is £26-28k, plus benefits.
