Transport Coordinator

Transport Coordinator: £32,000 per annum We are excited to announce an opportunity for 3 Transport Coordinators to join our dynamic team. As part of our growing family at an established international courier company, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Position: Transport Coordinator Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £32,000 Hours: 40 hours weekly allocated in 5 daily shifts from Monday to Saturday. Earliest shift start is 5.30am and latest shift start time is 10am. (Shift days to be discussed in person) Annual Leave: 20 days + UK public holidays Responsibilities: * Receive and plan orders from customers. * Ensure adherence to all SOPs and security protocols by staff under your supervision (drivers). * Maintain effective communication with drivers to provide shipment updates. * Troubleshoot issues such as traffic, vehicle breakdowns, and operational delays. * Collaborate with senior management on continuous improvement initiatives. * Update and maintain documentation on Transport Management Systems. Competencies/Personal Requirements/Experience * Preferable experience in Transport and/or Logistics. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and across diverse groups. * Ability to foster and maintain relationships internally and externally. * Aptitude for understanding and addressing business and customer needs. * Proficiency in general IT skills and MS Office. * Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet delivery deadlines. * Demonstrated ability to work independently. * Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment.
