Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms Industry Sector: Bathrooms, Baths, Radiators, Mirrors, Accessories, Showers, Taps, WC’s & Bidets, Basins, Independent Retailers, Plumbers Merchants, Buying Groups, KBB and Bathroom Industry Area to be covered: South East London, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Kent and east Sussex Remuneration: £38,000 - £42,000 + up to £17,000 Commission Benefits: Hybrid or electric car & benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms will involve: * Field sales position selling our clients manufactured range of traditional bathrooms * Responsible for 200+ active accounts, and another 200+ inactive/ dormant (50% Independent bathroom retailers, 30% buying group members and the remainder plumbers merchants and some national merchants) * 80% of your time calling on independent bathroom retailers and showrooms within plumbers merchants * 20% working with the field sales team of two large bathroom distributors on patch * £2m ledger responsibility (50% sold to direct customers through the two distributors and 50% via the independent retail distribution channel) * Account management led role * Responsible for gaining commitment in respect of point of sale displays * Inheriting an area achieving well against budget expectation * Promoting three different ranges (2 x med-high end) and a more affordable luxury range The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms with: * 12 months+ field sales experience from the bathroom industry (open to KBB sector) * Must have sold into independent retail showrooms, buying groups or plumbers merchants * May be open to sales person who has worked for a bathroom showroom over a number of years * Fire in the belly * Capable of treating the area as if it was your own franchise/ business * Autonomous in approach and excellent communicator * Good presentation skills The Company: * Est. 20 years+ * £100m+ turnover * 200+ Employees Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Sales Jobs, Construction sales vacancies and Specification sales positions within: Bathroom Retail Showrooms, Buying Groups, Plumbers Merchants, KBB and Bathroom Industry, Taps, Showers, WC’s & Bidets, Basins, Radiators, Mirrors, Furniture, Brassware, Sanitaryware, Fittings, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Boilers, Renewable and all other Plumbing and Heating associated sectors
