Finishing Foreman

Our client is a reputable building contractor based in Dublin, renowned for delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors. They're seeking a skilled Finishing Foreman to join their team on a 3-month contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the finishing phase of construction projects, ensuring quality standards are met and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of finishing works.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Address any issues or discrepancies promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain project progress.
• Supervise and motivate onsite personnel, providing guidance and support to optimize performance and productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports, including progress updates, site diaries, and quality control records.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address any concerns or modifications during the finishing phase

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage onsite teams and subcontractors.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision in finishing works.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications in construction management or related field.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines

In return, our client is offering: 65k - 75k per year

Contract Length: 3 months
