Hire Operations Administrator


Responsibility for the administration and scheduling within the Department to ensure customer expectations and commitments are met, whilst delivering a high-quality service.

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Assisting in stock movements
  • Scheduling engineers work
  • Supplier invoice processing
  • Liaising with freight companies regarding imports
  • Communicating with clients and suppliers.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
  • Providing back-up for Operations Manager during leave periods
  • Liaising with haulage suppliers to arrange transport.
  • Ad-hoc Projects

To succeed you will need to have a keen eye for detail and excellent time management and communication skills. Experience of using Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.

Organisational skills are essential as you will have multiple priorities at any one time.

Previous experience within a hire/rental company would be advantageous.

  • Experienced in planning and multi-tasks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office.
