3D Cad / Tekla Technician / Estimator

Role: 3D Cad/ Tekla Technician
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
Location: Derby (office based)

Our client are one of the countries leading providers of Hybrid structures, incorporating Steel, Timber and Glulam into sustainable construction projects and have an opportunity to join the estimating team as a 3D Cad/ Tekla Technician.

Predominantly the role will be to produce 3d models using Tekla structures for a take off at estimating stage and producing 2d general arrangement drawings which will form part of quotation pack to the clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years experience using Tekla with a background of steel frames, experience of timber structures would be useful but not critical as training can be provided.

The position would develop into an estimating role alongside the tasks of a CAD Technician, again training can be provided for this side of things.
