Quantity Surveyor

Madisons are recruiting for a Experienced Quantity Surveyor to get started on a permanent basis for a client of ours based in Hertfordshire.

Please note that the suitable candidate will have worked with a Main Contractor previously.

Duties:

• Working alongside clients to establish their requirements
• Undertaking feasibility studies to ensure successful proposals
• Estimate material quantities, costs, labour and time
• Preparing tender and contract documentation
• Performing risk management, and any cost control throughout projects
• Negotiating contracts and work schedules
• Continually analyse outcomes and writing budget reports
• Advising on contractual claims and disputes.
• Reports, planning and services trackers

Requirements:

• Candidates must have previous Main Contractor experience
• Experience working on both commercial and residential projects
• Relevant Qualifications Essential
