Are you passionate about creating safe and inspiring environments for students to learn and grow? Do you have a knack for organisation and leadership? We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join a school community in Christchurch and help to maintain school s facilities to the highest standards.

As a Site Manager, you will be Supporting the school s estate maintenance and compliance with health and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of school facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and implement necessary measures to safeguard students, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage the site budget efficiently, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
  • Lead and motivate the facilities team, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on schedule.
  • Liaise with staff, administrators, and external contractors to coordinate maintenance projects and address any facility-related issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
