Are you an experienced Field Service / Commissioning Engineer with a strong engineering / manufacturing background specifically within processing equipment? Do you have experience travelling across the UK to customer sites? Are looking to grow and progress within the engineering industry for a reputable, global organisation?
If so, we are seeking a highly skilled UK-Based Field Service / Commissioning Engineer on a permanent basis for a company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of bespoke special purpose machinery for a variety of different industries to join their team, mainly supplying into highly-regulated industries such as Pharmaceutical, Food & Bev, Dairy etc specialising within materials handling section of the business based near Milton Keynes.

Field Service and Commissioning Engineer

This person will need a strong processing equipment engineering/manufacturing background (this position is 60% electrical, 40% mechanical)

The successful candidate will have need to have worked on processing machinery / process equipment / or similar

+5 years Servicing / Commissioning Experience

Able to travel UK extensively

Based local to Milton Keynes to be on site as of when required, when not travelling

Competitive annual salary - GBP40,000 - GBP55,000 per annum, + bonuses/commission (Typical OTE 65k/70k)

Field Service and Commissioning Engineer
The Role

We are looking for a Field Service & Commissioning Engineer to take on entire responsibility for the successful set up of the equipment

We are looking for someone to carry out a full technical assessment of project, review of installation, general arrangement drawings, PID and full plan.

Working closely with the Automation Engineers to plan full system integration of all equipment

Commissioning documentation, technical validation, checks of equipment, wiring checks etc

Configuration of HMI s and drive units.

Final handover to client
