Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Having invested heavily in the automation in the warehouse over the last 3 years, you will be working with the latest dematic auto stores & material handling equipment.

Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a proactive Multi- Skilled Maintenance engineer to join this growing Automation team based in a busy distribution centre in Mansfield.

The site has seen significant growth over the last 2 years going from a team of 20 engineers to over 60 now within the business. This has seen multiple internal promotions.
If you are an engineer working within a manufacturing setting and would like to change sector we would like to hear from you, alternatively you may already be working in a similar environment and want to work with autonomy within your role

Based in Mansfield, this role is easily commutable from Chesterfield, Worksop, and Newark-on-trent.


Responsibilities of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Both reactive and planned maintenance on automation equipment.
• Undertake machine start-up, routine & non-routine and planned shut down as required.
• To undertake fault diagnosis & implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining and repairing automated bagging systems, conveyors, high bay cranes, auto stores, robots etc

Qualifications and experience required to become a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Apprentice trained Engineer.
• NVQ / C&G Level 3 or greater with an electrical or mechanical bias discipline
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Conveyors, Cranes, sortation and Hanging garment is desirable.
• You need to be a team player and have a passion for maintaining excellent craftmanship.

Benefits to you:

• GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 Basic Salary, depending on your experience
• 5k Annual Bonus & paid Overtime
• 4 on 4 off days & Nights pattern 12 hour shifts.
• Pension & 20 shifts Holiday
