MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to carry out the maintenance on an Anaerobic Digestion site.

Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy sector, looking for a mechanically bias engineer to join their team.

As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment on a food waste, anaerobic digestion site
• Scheduling and managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Assisting with continuous improvement works and projects
• Responding to breakdowns in an efficient manner to ensure maximum plant availability
• Working on an earlies/lates shift pattern
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Proven experience carrying out maintenance on mechanical equipment such pumps, gearboxes and water treatment experience
• A relevant engineering qualification eg: NVQ/HNC/Btec etc
• Experience within Anaerobic Digestion or other similar process environments(Water treatment/food processing/chemical plant etc.) is desired but not essential
• Marine engineers are also encouraged to apply for this role
• A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
• The ability to work a shift pattern including earlies and lates
