Job Title: Hair and Beauty Tutor

Location: Chatham

Salary: 27,500 DOE

Overview :

The purpose of this role is to deliver Hair and Beauty training and coaching up to level 2 to apprentices with the aim of each learner successfully achieving timely Hair and Beauty award. You will be responsible for delivering quality, engaging and motivational 1-2-1 and group schemes of work to apprentices.

To develop high quality schemes of work that deliver technical knowledge, whilst embedding soft skills through 1-1 and group work to learners/Apprentices.

Key Responsibilities :

• To deliver the Hair and Beauty course following a blended learning SOW
• Design, plan and deliver the Hair and Beauty curriculum in line with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF), awarding body standards and curriculum guidance and quality standards.
• To deliver engaging remote classroom sessions and on the employer premises, as required
• To attend at least Standardisation meetings
• To be responsible for a caseload of Hair and Beauty learners from IAG to completion
• Co-ordinate learner exams in line with Company Procedure

Essential/Desirable Criteria :

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent).
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Hairdressing subject/occupational area.
• Worked or still working within the relevant industry sector
• Ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Reliable, trustworthy and honest with an understanding of confidentiality.
