Maintenance Technician

Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company who have demonstrated continued growth and expansion into new markets.

We are recruiting for a Maintenace Technician in Birstall.

Essentially you will need:

• Apprenticeship or NVQ3 in a Mechanical discipline
• Strong problem solving skills
• The ability to ensure that others follow instructions and directions through clear accurate communications
• The ability to demonstrate energy, drive, commitment and dedication to achieving both your own and the companies success.
• The ability to adopt and promote a Continuous Improvement program to all activities
• The desire to undertake further training that will benefit both you and the company
• Driving License
• Good English skills, both verbal and written

The role:

You will be predominantly based in the workshop, but this role does require travel to sites to undertake service requirements.

• Deliver Service activities (which include: installation, repairs, preventative maintenance services)
• Installation and service of textile manufacturing equipment.
• Assist the design department in product development projects.
• Ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and ensure that issues are resolved in the fastest way possible.
• Be responsible for reporting accurately and in a timely manner, all activities as required (e.g. Service Reports, Expense Reports, etc.)
