Mechanical Design Team Leader

Role – Mechanical Design Team Leader Type – Permanent Location – Beccles Salary – £45,000 - £55,000, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures engineering equipment and machinery, with them looking to take on a Mechanical Design Team Leader, on a permanent basis, in the Beccles area. The Mechanical Design Team Leader will ideally have the following attributes: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar Industry experience working as a Mechanical Team Leader, Manager, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Previous experience of leading a team of 5 or more Engineers would be desirable Having knowledge of 3D CAD – SolidWorks ideally, but other software may also be considered Good organisational skills are required and good time management too The ability to use Microsoft Office programmes Excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenThe Mechanical Design Team Leader role will involve: Leading a team of Mechanical Design Engineers Working on a range of company projects Producing mechanical engineering solutions and checking designs from the other Mechanical Design Engineers – working with SolidWorks Taking projects from concept to completion Working closely with other engineering colleagues Being flexible to travel to customers sites at commissioning stage occasionallyIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
