Mechanical Engineer City Of London Building Services/Construction A mid-sized Mechanical & Electrical Contractor requires a Mechanical Engineer to deliver on a Residential project in Wapping worth £17mil M&E. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical engineering aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards while meeting project timelines and budget constraints. Utilize your expertise in mechanical engineering principles to design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components that meet project requirements and client specifications. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, offering insights and solutions to complex engineering challenges. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, technicians, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of mechanical components within larger projects. Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations.Requirements: HNC or above qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Proven experience in mechanical project management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector. SMSTS Qualification or above in Health & Safety. Strong technical proficiency in mechanical engineering principles, HVAC systems, and building services. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
