Teaching Assistant required in Guildford

I am currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join an Ofsted 'GOOD' SEN School in Guildford, starting ASAP The roles will be full-time, long-term, supporting various aspects of education (all classroom based), 1:1 and group learning for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils (11 to 16 years old), the school caters for children & young people with SEMH and additional Learning Difficulties / Special Educational Needs. Location: Guildford (GU5) Duration: Long Term Pay: £90-£100 (depending on experience) Contract: Monday - Friday (Full-Time) The successful applicants will have: · Experience of working with or caring for children or young people (either Primary or Secondary, mixed gender) · Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals or SEN · Excellent Behaviour Management skills · A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment · Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers · An Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update service If you would like to be considered for this role or require further information, please feel free to get in contact with me
