Title of Position: Project Manager Shop Solutions Nature of appointment: Permanent Contract Main Place of Work: Wanzl Wicklow Office Reporting to: Head of Projects Hours 40 hours per week:- however your attention is drawn to the requirement for flexibility. Location: Predominantly Customer / Site based and at either Wanzl Head Office Kildare or our Wicklow Office, Travel will be required. Job Description The role of the Shop Fitting Project Manager is to be part of the Project Management team to provide a full and professional Project Management service for allocated projects within our Shop Fitting division. The role will primarily involve working on projects within the supermarket environment. This role involves actively co-ordinating internal resources and departments to achieve project delivery including controlling the project timelines and milestones and keeping internal / external stakeholders informed. The Project Manager will take full accountability and responsibility of the project throughout its life cycle. Ensuring that all quality aspects are fully maintained and the delivery of the project is fully documented. National travel will be required with requirement to stay away when necessary. Out-of-hours work could be necessary to meet the customer’s demands. Key Responsibilities * Programme and manage the shelving project from beginning to end * Define project scope, goals and deliverables * Develop project plans, associated communication documents and track project timelines. * Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner. * Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. * Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. * Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans to alleviate such problems. * Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Flexibility * It is a requirement of all employees that they accept elements of flexibility in duties and responsibilities and when necessary, interchange within the Group which will meet the changing needs and demands of the service. * Compliance to company policies and group management systems Experience * Must have experience in a similar shop fitting role * Should have knowledge of the Health & Safety requirements for on-site operations * Should have experience with onsite installations, multiple short duration projects and knowledge of shop fitting or retail equipment. Skills and Qualifications Essential * Experience in a Project Management capacity within the retail or shop fitting industry. * Computer skills * Safe Pass Card * Full driving licence Desirable but not essential * Project Management qualification * SAP experience
