Operations Cleaning Manager


Cleaning Operations Manager Salary: £40k pr annum + annual sales target bonus Immediate Start Required Cleaning Operations Manager - Description: We are looking for a hard working, self motivated Manager with experience working in a site environment. The candidate will need to be confident in their approach to clients and be comfortable speaking with managers and their superiors as and when needed. Fluent English is essential to this role. We are a construction & retail cleaning company and carry out cleaning in supermarkets, offices, stores and welfare cleaning on sites. This role varies between on site team management of our cleaning operatives – ensuring quality is being upheld and everyone is aware of the job in hand and organising and setting up jobs with clients & our office manager. This role will require FULL FLEXIBILITY in regards to working hours as we will have day & night shifts needing to be supervised and/or checked in on. See below details of each area of the role: On Site Team Management: * Keeping track of all drivers and what stock/equipment they have in their vans – ensuring they are fully equipped each day for each job and vans are kept in good order. * Setting up jobs – meeting with the team at site and walking round with them and site management to explain what needs to be done and make a plan of action * Checking in on various sites during the day/night to ensure all operatives are carrying out works to correct standard * Constantly liaising with site management to ensure we are in correct time frames etc. * Team training and team building exercises (training given) Office: * Arranging site visits with the Office Manager to attend and price up jobs (training & shadowing to be provided) * Confirming schedule bookings with Office Manager * Liaising with all clients to ensure strong relationships and reaching out to potential new clients Cleaning Operations Manager - Experience/Skills: * Full Driving Licence * CSCS Card * SSSTS / SMSTS – Preferred but not essential as can be acquired during employment * On site experience We are looking for a candidate who has experience on site, cleaning experience is not essential but cleaning knowledge is. We will provide some training but must have knowledge of machinery use, chemical use etc. As a Cleaning Manager this role will include sole use of our company vehicle and will be expected to drive nationwide dependant on where our current jobs are active setting up jobs/dropping off or collecting equipment and/or teams. We will provide full shadowing for the initial 3 - 6 months of employment to ensure all areas are covered in regards to training – this role is based on 45 x hours per week and can be split Monday – Sunday dependant on what jobs are active, In any quiet periods the hours will need to made up when we are busy so FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST. *Please ensure you have read this job description in full before applying
