Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Shifts Salary - £30,000 + £4,500 Shift Allowance Bristol Trevett Services are working on behalf of a UK National FM provider who are looking to bring on Mechanical Building Services Shift Engineer to work on their static site in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large maintenance team with excellent benefits and future opportunities. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: Carry out PPM’s and reactive maintenance on Mechanical systems and plant equipment. Carry out mechanical/electrical works as required i.e. allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, new works, refurbishment and capital works replacement programme. Maintain and carry out repairs on HVAC systems, gas appliances, Piped Medical Gas systems, steam plant/equipment and all other equipment in plant rooms, patient areas and other departments. Required to attend training programmes to meet contract requirements and for self development purposes. To oversee specialist sub-contractors, and manage contractors as necessary, working to a safe system of work and permit-to-work system. Company Benefits: • Generous holiday allowance with the option to purchase additional days • Employee discounts including shopping retailers, gym memberships and cycle to work • Additional learning and training opportunities Qualifications & experience: • Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 2 or 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience, plumbing experience essential. • Previous experience in a maintenance or building services role with PPM experience. • Good knowledge of M&E testing, fault finding, maintenance, refurbishment and install. • Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous. Shift: Working an average of 38.5 hours per week a 4 on 4 off shift pattern alternating between days and nights: 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00
