Position: Children's Home Deputy Manager Location: Hebden Bridge Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum Beds: 2 An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children's Home Deputy Manager in Hebden Bridge. This role is within a small service catering to children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, operated by a well-established organization. Key Details: •The residential service comprises a 2-bed setup. •The role entails shifts, with a schedule of 2 on and 4 off. •Hands-on management and leadership are integral aspects of the position. •Qualifications and Requirements: •Prior experience in a senior/team leader or deputy manager role within a children's residential setting is essential. •Possession of a Level 3 Children & Young People qualification is mandatory. •A genuine passion for the sector and a commitment to driving positive change are paramount. Main Responsibilities: •Supervising the day-to-day operations of the residential home to ensure compliance with relevant laws, protocols, policies, and the facility's Statement of Purpose. •Providing guidance and support to caretakers to promote the well-being of young individuals, striving for the highest standards of care. •Collaborating with the home manager to oversee home operations effectively. •Acting as manager in the absence of the Manager. •Ensuring the provision of high-quality care for children and young people. •Leading, managing, and developing individuals and the team while upholding effective quality standards. •Conducting reviews and meetings. •Ensuring effective induction for all staff, along with supervising trained staff, providing mentorship, and conducting assessments.
