Project Engineer - Building Management Systems


We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a national market leader in the Building Management Systems industry & Energy Optimisation, in London! The Role: The role, operating at the Project Engineer level, reports directly to the Regional/Operational Manager. It holds significant importance in delivering professional, high-quality services to customers. The ideal candidate will: * Deliver exceptional service to customers, maintaining regular communication to ensure satisfaction. * Attend on-site meetings with sales team for project handovers, ensuring compliance with specifications and accurate budgeting. * Implement and uphold safe work systems, including CDM, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments. * Enforce Quality Assurance to ISO standards throughout project delivery. * Take ownership of multiple projects, varying in size and scope. * Conduct client training, demonstrations, and handovers, identifying additional training needs. * Manage BMS design aspects, including control valve sizing and technical documentation. * Perform BMS software modifications, panel adjustments, and commissioning tasks. * Oversee BMS product procurement within budget constraints. * Review and approve control panel drawings from subcontractors. * Allocate technical labor and schedule diary bookings according to project requirements. * Maintain communication with the technical team to ensure project progress aligns with the program. * Manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety policies and validity of variation claims. * Identify and value project variations for the customer. * Attend site progress meetings and produce detailed monthly progress reports. * Prepare Operating & Maintenance manuals and handover documentation. * Conduct end-of-project technical reviews and implement lessons learned. Due to the nature of this role, you must possess a full UK driving licence. What's in it for me?
