NEW STORES MANAGER ROLE IN HAYES, GREATER LONDON Our client based in Hayes specialise in microwave power sources and high-voltage supplies for radar and scientific applications who are seeking a Stores Manager to join their dynamic team. About the role: As a Stores Manager you will be a connecting piece between stores and manufacturing and contributing to the process of highly complex electronic systems used in a range of applications. Your tasks will involve managing the stock count and quality standards of all products entering of leaving the site as well as implementing continuous improvement strategies and processes. Responsibilities: As a Stores Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of the stores team. Your duties will include: Contributing to the development and implementation of warehouse vision, strategy, policies, and procedures to enhance operational performance. Driving an efficient stores operation to meet both operational and customer demand. Developing and implementing policies and procedures for stores activities in compliance with quality standards. Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Generating and reporting on departmental objectives and KPIs. Qualifications and Experience: Good level of general education. Professional qualification in disciplines such as APICS, CILT, IoSCM, or CIPS. Previous experience in inventory control and management. Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures. Skills and Attributes: Proven ability to contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Strong decision-making skills with a bias for action. Commitment to continuous improvement. Proficiency in IT, particularly spreadsheets, databases, and warehousing systems.
