Currently, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Registered Manager for a learning disability or Emotional and Behavioral Disorder (EBD) home in North London. Job Description: As the Children's Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of exceptional care and support for children with learning disabilities or EBD. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering positive relationships with residents, staff, families, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a dedicated team of support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and training as necessary. Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs and aspirations of each resident. Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures, promoting the welfare and protection of vulnerable children. Maintain effective communication channels with external agencies, including local authorities, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies. Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently. Uphold the highest standards of care delivery, promoting dignity, respect, and independence for all residents. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within a similar setting, ideally with children with learning disabilities or EBD. Hold a relevant qualification in social care, such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent. Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a multidisciplinary team. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
