Business Consultant Administrator - Digital Business


Team – Digital Business Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Stockport Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.  Top 3 skills needed for this role: Problem Solving Proactive OrganisedWhat this role is all about: To provide operational support for the DBC Channel. The Business Consultant Executive role is largely based on the process from application to the point of sale. The role is a combination of ensuring cases go through the pipeline efficiently and also providing added value to the channel by supporting the brokers and Account Managers. This will include ringing Advisers to book in appointments with their Business Consultant for introductory calls or follow up calls. Key Actions Following an organised approach, working on a prescribed number of cases each day with the goal of getting the application through underwriting as efficiently as possible. Contacting brokers and customers where necessary to obtain information or to update them via email or phone. Liaising with the New Business team to resolve issues, get reports uploaded, and gain clarity and confirmation on underwriting requirements. Liaising with external providers to ensure that GP reports are completed in an efficient manner and the Concierge team to ensure medical appointments are carried out Answering incoming communications via email or telephone. Building rapport with brokers to ensure they receive the best customer service. This role is an extension from the Account Manager role. Liaising with New Business Team to obtain and create quotes Activating Cases Building a relationship so the broker is confident in trusting us with their business and always has support for any requirements  Cleansing data via the FCA / Company House websites, along with data gathering Calling advisers and doing soft fact finds to establish their protection background what they know/don’t know about Vitality, and then booking in appointments for the Consultants Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role: Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills Proven track record of working within an operational departmentDesirable Significant sales administration experience with brokers and or IFA’s Previous knowledge of working within an intermediated environment So, what’s in it for you?
