Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer


Nelson Permanent Placements are representing an established compliance safety company who maintain, service & repair properties within the social housing sector across the UK. Due to growth within the business our client is looking for an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to join their team based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will have: * 18th edition * NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification * City and Guilds level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations * City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (preferable, training may be provided for the right candidate) * Previous electrical experience required in domestic environment * An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace * A full UK driving licence Responsibilities: * To work in line with Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace, reporting near misses, incidents and accidents * To carry out fixed wire installation tests (EICR) at clients premises * To rectify faults reported on the fixed wire installation test (EICR) * To accurately submit all relevant certification via tablet utilising bespoke software * To work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between 8.00am-5.00pm) with the opportunity to work after 5.00pm and at the weekends * To represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
