Night Shift Engineer

Are you a electrically qualified building service engineer looking for a nights only shift opportunity? • 4 on 4 off night shift (7pm - 7am, some weekends) • Canary Wharf One of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers are now looking for a Nights Engineer to join the maintenance team dedicated to the client's prestigious corporate banking facility in Canary Wharf. This is a high profile, highly critical building home to trading floors and HV systems. The Night Engineer will focus on completing works on electrical elements units and similar, in addition to other electrical tasks, around Emergency lighting RCDs, Lamping etc. We are happy to consider an electrical engineer, with some mechanical knowledge. Actions Will Include for the Night engineer: • Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems. • Carry out duties in accordance with company procedures and the clients’ requirements to fulfil contractual obligations. • In conjunction with other team members and other locations, establish contingency measures to ensure full services are available during periods of absence. Providing cover where necessary at other sites within a reasonable distance. • Undertake any training that may be required to fulfil duties. • Maintain test equipment and tools associated with your role, ensuring they are fit for purpose at all times. • To comply with any and all instructions given by Supervisor. Undertaking any other duties as reasonably requested, which are within your competence and experience.
