Forklift Driver

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while adhering to all company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: 1. Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse or distribution centre. 2. Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles using the forklift. 3. Stack and store merchandise in designated areas. 4. Ensure inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies. 5. Inspect forklift before and after each shift and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor. 6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including aisles, racks, and storage areas. 7. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. 8. Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including picking and packing orders, shipping and receiving, and general labour duties. 9. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. 10. Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including safety guidelines and quality standards.
