Transport Administrator


A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Transport Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying 25,000 - 29,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Chasing customers to arrange stillage collections and raise collection notes.
  • Manage and update stillage log to track/record location and status.
  • Check drivers paperwork.
  • Match loading information with delivery notes.
  • Advise customers on the status of stillages.
  • Provide daily/weekly reports on the status of the companies stillages.
  • Resolve customer queries and collection requests.
  • Investigate missing stillages.
  • Any other duties as required.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Transport Administrator position:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Experience in Stock control/ Credit control required
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
