Civils 2nd Man

We are seeking a skilled Civils 2nd Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the civils team lead in building ICS sites to standards, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Duties:

• Carry out Intrusive surveys and reinstatement
• This would involve assisting cutting into an existing roof covering, to reveal roof structure, then to reinstate to match existing roof covering
• Carry out plinth installs
• This involves assisting cutting into roof covering and exposing down to solid roof level. Build rebar cage, and then concrete pour the plinth box, along with making plinth watertight to the roof.
• Carry out Steel installs
• This involves assisting bolting steel work together as per instructions.
• Carry out Pull testing
• This involves assisting using a concrete pull tester to test the strength of fixings, inside concrete or walls.
• Trial holes
• This involves assisting digging a hole of 1m square by 1200mm deep to determine services in a required location, and then to reinstate the ground back to existing.
• Cabinet and tower bases
• This involves assisting setting out as per dimensions from a drawing, installing ducting and cabinet roots in the ground, and concreting bases.

Experience:

• Prior experience in civil engineering or construction industry preferred
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Time Management
• Knowledge of H&S
• Ability to work at heights
• Telecoms knowledge desirable
• Rooftop experience
• NRSSWA card
• Driving license

Hours: 50 hours per week

Location: Field Based

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00 per year
