Key Responsibilities of the Adult Social Worker:
Engage with adults employing a strength-focused approach to address various care and assistance needs.
Nurture multi-agency collaborations to facilitate autonomous living for adults and/or their caregivers.
Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, including the Care Act 2014 and related laws.
Participate in reflective practice, actively contributing to team dynamics.
Identify and tackle safeguarding concerns, adhering to established protocols.
Act as the Council's representative in legal proceedings when necessary.
Advocate for the viewpoints of service users in decision-making forums.
Conduct assessments and develop support plans aligned with the Care Act 2014.
Cultivate cooperative relationships with external agencies and the local community.

Requirements of the Adult Social Worker:
Degree in Social Work (CQSW, DipSW, BA Social Work) or equivalent professional qualification.
Registered with Social Work England as a Social Worker
Proven experience in social work, encompassing assessment and support planning for individuals and caregivers to enhance their well-being.
Level 1 qualification in Essential Digital Skills or demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Relevant post-qualifying certifications.
