Senior Structures Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the maintenance strategy and policies for all highway structures Lead the forward programme of works to ensure the highway structure assets are well-maintained Provide technical expertise and guidance on structural engineering matters Manage and review structural assessments and inspections Oversee the design and construction of new structures and the refurbishment of existing structures Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of projects Conduct quality assurance and control processes Job Requirements: Significant experience in structural engineering, with a particular focus on highway structures Strong knowledge of bridge engineering and maintenance Proficiency in developing maintenance strategies and policies Experience in project management and programme delivery Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IStructE) is desirable If you have the skills and experience required for this Senior Structures Engineer role, and you are looking for a challenging contract opportunity within a prestigious organization, we encourage you to apply now
