We have an excellent opportunity for a customer service specialist to join our IT client as a technical support agent. Training is provided for this role, so if you have a background in customer service and have excellent communication skills and good organisational skills then we are keen to hear from you. This first class employer offer a good basic salary, hours of work are Mon-Fri 09:00- 17:00 and they offer 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance and bonus, our client are based just outside of Stamford a driving license and own transport is required. We are looking for someone with:- * Strong general educational qualifications * Demonstrable organisation skills including time management - prioritisation of tasks and self-motivation * Excellent IT literacy - fast accurate keyboard skills * Confident and clear communicator (verbal - written and listening skills) * Proven track record in customer service and support * Professional in manner - approach - appearance and confidence * Motivation to learn and disseminate information * Strong work ethic - requires high standards of self - able to be flexible in order to get the job done - able to work under pressure when deadlines approach * Strong attention to detail * Hard working and committed - with a sense of humour Some of the duties and resposibilities are:- * Take customer calls and attempt to resolve the customer’s enquiry or issue by remotely connecting to customer sites. * Telephone customers and talk through certain functions - and explain the causes and solutions to the problems. * Participate in the out of hours support rota (this could amount to 1 week in 8) * Escalate issues to your line manager as appropriate (and according to procedure)
