Temporary Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator


Temporary Bookkeeper Duration: Minimum 4 weeks to cover sickness Start Date: April 15th, 2024 Hours:8:30 am - 4:30 pm (3:45 pm finish on Thursdays) Location: Newton Le Willows Responsibilities: - Utilise Sage 50 for accurate bookkeeping tasks - Manage purchase ledger, including processing invoices and payments - Generate and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) as needed - Maintain and reconcile Petty Cash - Conduct weekly payment runs in accordance with company procedures - Act as the Point of Contact (POC) for finance-related queries Qualifications: - Proven experience with Sage 50 accounting software - Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices - Ability to manage purchase ledger, POs, and Petty Cash efficiently - Experience with processing weekly payment runs - Excellent communication skills to serve as the main point of contact for finance inquiries Additional Information: - This is a temporary position to cover for a staff member on sick leave. - The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently to maintain financial records accurately
