Quantity Surveyor

Job Title – Quantity Surveyor Location – Wales and Northwest England Salary - £60k per annum Established in 1971, and having grown from strength to strength, our client has earned a Nationwide reputation for craftsmanship and service, specialising in natural slating, leadwork, and heritage roof restoration. The Company specialises in heritage restoration with 8 CSCS Gold Heritage Lead workers with over 150 years combined experience, large scale domestic re-roofing, council and group repair schemes, and smaller scale domestic new roofing, re-roofing, and repairs. Our client are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their management team overseeing ongoing large-scale contracts and assisting on future projects. Duties: * Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for roofing projects. * Conduct thorough quantity surveys and cost analysis. * Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather essential project details. * Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements. * Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process. * Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Skills * Proven Quantity Surveying experience in the roofing sector * Strong knowledge of roofing materials * Understanding of NEC, JCT D&B contracts * Ability to engage with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties * Advanced user of MS Office, particularly in Excel / Projects * UK Driver’s License (As will be traveling across sites in Wales and North West of England) If you take pride in what you do and are interested in being a part of one of the UK's leading Heritage Roofing Contractors, please get in touch
