National Account Manager £65,000 + Car + Bonus + Commission + Benefits Package FMCG Food Importer – Tesco, Asda, Morrisons The Client The company specialise in Importing and Distributing Food and Drink products from across the Globe into the UK marketplace. We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join the company who has experience selling into and growing Tesco, Asda and Morrisons as well as UK Distributors. The Role * Managing 3 of the company’s top 5 accounts (Tesco, Asda & Morrisons) this NAM role is a critical one for the business as we look to accelerate growth and further develop over the next 5 years. The Candidate * Experience in managing & growing business with Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and UKD. * A genuine interest in and knowledge of food and ingredients. * Strong commercial acumen and high business awareness. * A high level of energy, resilience and tenacity. * Track record in agreeing & executing Business Plans. * A proven track record delivering results ahead of expectations. * Experience and ability to sell, negotiate and make things happen. * Excellent system knowledge and technical capability (system savvy) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work and communicate confidently and collaboratively with customers and colleagues. * Ability to think big, act fast, find a solution and thrive on it. * Excellent organizational skills, being able to work on multiple projects at the same time, manage time effectively and meet deadlines. * An entrepreneurial enterprise mindset that adds value to the wider business beyond the Sales function – a true team player who gets on with most people. * A network of useful contacts across key customers and a desire to develop this network. * Experience of portfolio business working across multiple brands & large product ranges. * A positive “can-do” attitude and a desire to be part of a successful team. * Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes. * Experience of interacting with Marketing on selling branded products. * Commutable to Enfield On offer to the successful candidate is an attractive basic salary and benefits, giving you the ability to work with a dynamic, fast-growing company where the career opportunities are inexhaustible.
