Job title: Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprentice Salary: £10.18 per hour plus Veolia benefits Location: AVSE (Edinburgh) Programme Duration: 4 years *Candidate shortlisting will take place w/c 29th April 2024 and assessment days will take place between w/c 6th - 13th May 2024. As well as this, you'll also gain qualifications in Level 6 SVQ Diploma, Competency & Knowledge Skills Certificate, as well as H&S (IOSH) Awareness Training. You will complete the Electrical Engineering Programme in installation and fault finding on Electrical systems in a commercial environment. With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices, you'll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout. By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.What you'll be doing; Learn how to safely install, maintain and repair Mechanical equipment and systems in an industrial environment. The individual will learn what safety measures are to be applied. Learn techniques, practices and behaviours required with the ultimate aim to become a professional time served electrical craftsman.What are we looking for? A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4 (C or equivalent) or above/predicted to include Maths, English & Science.
